8 of 10 Top Ten Tips for Finding Mr. or Ms. Right

This "tip" is a no-brainer... but it is something that is easily overlooked. It should be our first inclination but it's often our last recourse. Yes, I am talking about the power of prayer.
I want to share with you a passage of Scripture from the book of Philippians 4:6-7, but I want to translate it from the Greek to get the most from it for you. Here's what it says to every Believer in Jesus:
"Stop worrying, no not even for one thing; instead, in every situation, with both general and specific prayer, let your requests be made known in the presence of God, and the peace of God which surpasses all power of comprehension will mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
What God is telling each of his followers specifically is:
- Stop worrying and never start again
- Instead of worrying, pray
- When you pray, be specific about what you're asking
- Ask, knowing you are in God's presence
Then, God tells us the result of this kind of prayer: Peace. Peace that will guard both your head and your heart from future worry. Why? Because you know that your heavenly Father has this one in the bag. From now on, it's only a matter of timing... our patient trust in His future promise of provision.
Okay, so there you have it. Now, go pray and do what He says. When you do, you will experience His supernatural peace.
